On Being an Orthodontist

Orthodontics allows me to provide a life-changing service to my patients, one they will appreciate for their entire life. I’m passionate about creating positive changes in my patients during their treatment, and watching those changes happen. Even the most self-conscious person begins to open and grow during care; their personality blossoms and they become more confident in all aspects of their life.

I’ve been practicing orthodontics since 1988, having chosen the specialty because I enjoy problem-solving, working in fine detail, and the positive attitudes in my patients. Each person comes to me with a goal of a healthy, functional, and beautiful smile. It’s my responsibility to identify the best way to help them reach that goal in a comfortable, timely, and affordable manner using the most modern techniques and technology. — Dr. John Ogro
